Fairway & Frame is the trading name of Fairway and Frame, a sole trader, and is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at admin@fairwayandframe.co.uk. Our full address is on the contact page.
What we collect
Your name and email address; your delivery address; order and payment details (Stripe handles the card itself — we only see the last four digits and the result); and your design details, meaning the course, players, scores, date and conditions you enter.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To make, review and deliver your poster, to take payment and to send order updates — this is necessary to perform our contract with you. To keep proper business and tax records — a legal obligation. For website analytics and any marketing email — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
These companies process data on our behalf, only for the purposes below:
- Gelato — printing and shipping (receives your name and delivery address)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — hosting, database and file storage
- Resend — sending order emails
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement, only if you accept cookies
- Replicate — image processing for your artwork (no personal details attached)
Some of these providers operate outside the UK and EEA. Where data is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they fall in, as UK tax law requires. Your account and saved designs are kept until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email admin@fairwayandframe.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
