Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026.

These terms govern your use of Fairway & Frame and any order you place with us. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing here takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

Who we are

What you're buying

Each poster is a personalised, stylised artwork built from real course mapping data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) and aerial imagery, combined with our own artistic rendering and the details you supply — course, players, score, date and the conditions you choose.

Artistic interpretation

Every poster is an artist's stylised interpretation of a golf course. It is styled from the real map — it is not a satellite photo, a survey-accurate drawing, or a to-scale representation. Colours, textures, edges and small features will differ from the real course, and the printed piece may vary slightly from your on-screen preview because screens and paper render colour differently. This is expected and is part of the product, not a fault.

How an order works

You design your poster and pay. We then review the artwork by hand, approve it, and send it to production. Once it has been approved and sent to production it is being made specifically for you and can no longer be changed.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include free delivery to the US and UK; for other countries a delivery charge is shown at checkout. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and the price shown is the total you pay. Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Changes and cancellation

Because every poster is personalised and made to order, the usual 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once production has begun.

You can ask us to change or cancel your order at any time before we approve it and send it to production — just email admin@fairwayandframe.co.uk as soon as you can and we'll do our best. After that point the order cannot be cancelled.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if your poster arrives damaged, faulty or not as described — see our Returns & Refunds page.

Delivery

Prints are produced and shipped by Gelato, a third-party print-on-demand partner, from the production site nearest you. Delivery times shown on the site are estimates, not guarantees, and vary by destination and carrier. See Delivery for current estimates.

Intellectual property

You receive the finished poster for your own personal, non-commercial use. We keep all rights in our styles, templates, rendering process and site content. Underlying map data is used under its open licence (© OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database Licence).

Our liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
